GOALS:

Establishing Trust & Attachment: Building a relationship between infant and caregiver is fundamental for both the family and provider.

Responsive Care: Caregivers meet the individual needs of each infant, including feeding, diapering, comforting, and engaging interactions.

Sensory Stimulation: Provide a rich environment that stimulates the senses through use of gentle music, textured materials, and other age appropriate toys.

Motor Skills: Offer supervised tummy time, reaching for toys, grasping and exploring materials, and eventually opportunities for rolling over, crawling, and walking.

Language: Encourage language acquisition by talking, singing, reading, and teaching sign language.

Emotional Development: Promote emotional regulation and social interactions  through gentle and responsive caregiving, help infants recognize and express emotions, and facilitate positive interactions.

Parent/Teacher Partnership: Cultivate a positive relationship by providing regular communication, updates, and guidance on care, milestones, and strategies to support home development.
